Bookings & payment
- A first-night prepayment is required to confirm a direct booking made more than 7 days before arrival.
- The remaining balance is due 7 days before arrival.
- Bookings made within 7 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
- Rates are in Australian dollars and include the standard departure clean.
Cancellations
- 21 days or more before arrival: amounts paid will be refunded, less a $30 administration fee.
- Peak periods (Christmas, Easter and nominated long weekends): 30 days’ notice is required for the same refund.
- Inside the applicable cancellation period: the first-night prepayment is non-refundable. If we successfully re-book the cottage for the full cancelled period, we will refund the amount recovered, less a $30 administration fee.
- Within 48 hours of arrival, for a no-show, or after the stay has commenced: the full booking value is payable. Any refund for nights we successfully re-book will be limited to the amount recovered from the replacement booking.
- Changes of dates are treated under the same cancellation conditions. We recommend travel insurance for unexpected changes to your plans.
During your stay
- Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am unless otherwise agreed.
- Only guests included in the booking may stay overnight. Parties, events, smoking and vaping inside the cottages are not permitted.
- Pets are not permitted, helping us protect the native wildlife on the property. Assistance animals are accommodated in accordance with applicable law.
- Guests are responsible for reasonable costs arising from damage, loss, or cleaning substantially beyond a normal stay. Normal wear and tear is excluded.
Third-party bookings
Bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com or another booking platform are subject to the payment and cancellation conditions shown by that platform at the time of booking.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. If Yungaburra Bushland Cottages cannot provide the accommodation you booked, any remedy will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
